Sadie performed in the Christmas Eve Service at church and Ashton is spreading reindeer food after we get home!

Ariana Village

Sadie was an elf once again in Ariana Village where Cindy and Ernie live. This year they were Mr. & Mrs. Claus together! Sadie had a blast once again and hated to leave!

Christmas Concert

Ashton was so cute in his Christmas performance! Bad Mommy I was forgot to take the gum away from him! I ran up when they were settling the 2 year olds to snatch it from him! Half the video has him chomping away! He made it through the performance, but he came running at us at the end since Grandma and Grandpa were awesome enough to get their early to get prime seats! Way better than the last row last year!

Ali Edwards Class

I got the chance to take a scrapbooking class with Ali Edwards! I am so glad that I did! I can see how classes can be addicting! It is a great feeling to come home with a completed project!

Lights of Lakeland

What a beautiful display! The live nativity was awesome with the real camels! Ashton thought it was great! We may even go back it was so great!

E-L-M-O!

We were supposed to take Ausitn for his birthday present, but poor Austin was sick with a fever. (Maybe he can go to the circus or Clifford with us.) We were able to take Carter last minute and they had a blast! The show had low sales and our $10 tickets became $25 seats since they closed the balconey and moved us into orchestra seeting! Love small town Lakeland and the little theater! We had great seats and the boys loved it all!

Annual Christmas Parade

Ashton truly enjoyed the annual Lakeland Christmas parade. He was excited and continued to ask, "What's next?" after each float passed. The bands caught most of his attention, but there were tons of floats for him to look at. There were many groups passing out goodies and Ashton would get up there, but he was often passed by. Our neighboring parade goers started to yell at the groups to make sure he got some goodies!

Sadie was able to once again ride on her school's float and we were lucky enought o be on the right side of the road!

Advent Workshop!

The kids were hard at work on their Christmas crafts this afternoon at church. Sadie made a Gingerbread basket, decorated a candle and a snowman recipe holder. Ashton colored a cookie plate and a kaleidascope and made a treat to eat!

ICE!

We took the kids over to ICE! at Gaylord Palms today! How cold it was! The kids had a blast on the slides. It was surprising how fast ice slides were! It was a great day out!

Decorating the Tree!

We have had the tree up, but not decorated! We have been waiting for Sadie! The two decorated the tree before dinner tonight. They had fun looking at the ornaments. Ashton knows so much more and he is all into the holiday spirit. He loves the lights and commenting on the decorations we see that are up already. We are taking them to ICE at Gaylord Palms this weekend. I hope it is not too cold for them at 9 degrees!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgivng everyone! We hope you had a great day! We enjoyed the day at my mom and dad's with some relatives mixed in! Dad's brother Wesley and his wife Julia came. Mom's brother Jerry and his wife Anna came as well. Lots of yummy food, almost too much! We will soon be eating some leftovers and I am sure we'll be off to bed early with all that triptofan!
